I am still continuing to learn each day. For a techie like me, it helps to learn a bit each day. I'm still in the process of learning to market and to keep people coming to my blog.
It is slowly building up, but having your own domain facilitates customization and experimenting with schemes (themes, marketing ploys, linking). I still feel some of the rankings are just brownie points. There might be a lot of people who visit and read the blog, but do not leave any trace on Technorati.I have learned a lot by setting up my own blog. I am still continuing to learn each day. VIP tickets apparently cost a few thousand dollars. Each ticket comes with a "passport" that allows a participant to attend another WIMS event for free within 12 months.
