Was truly glad when Shanta said in a Skype chat on 16th Nov, "Liked your If I were Google post. Puts it in perspective. Thanks!"
By the way, I now prefer to use Gliffy instead of CmapTools if it continues to be free. Reasons:

<li>Gliffy output are like regular graphics.</li>
<li>One can create many types of diagrams with Gliffy, but only concept maps with Cmap.</li>
<li>Gliffy can be plugged into a wiki. Currently being tested with Confluence.</li>
<li>Text in Gliffy can be hyperlinked. Once it starts to incorporate hyperlinked shapes (see [Click to view link]), it could work pretty much like cmaps (except perhaps for the online discussion feature).</li>
<li>It tracks changes collaborators make to diagrams in wiki fashion. (Note: collaboration feature still a little unstable currently.)</li>
