24 May 2005 (Tue)

The results for the last semester are out. So far, the scorecard for my Masters of Arts in Instructional Design & Technology program at the National Institute of Education, Singapore, reads:

Instructional Design Models & Practices – ‘A’
Evaluation Methods & Action Research – ‘A’
Training Strategies & Methods – ‘A’
Multimedia Development I – ‘B’
Technologies as Cognitive Tools – ‘A’
Designing, Conducting & Researching Investigations – ‘A’
Implications of Social Psychological Theories & Research for Educators – ‘B’

Just one more module and a thesis (equivalent to two modules) to complete before graduation. (Taking a deep breath) Here I come! ;-)

The results for the last semester’s modules are finally out early this week. Got a ‘B+’ for Research Methods in Professional Practices.

A little disappointed. But at least, I’ve now completed the required eight modules in my program. Can concentrate on my thesis now. Still, going to “sit in” (audit) an Elementary Statistics module next semester since I don’t quite understand statistics. Thanks to the kind and generous asst professor in charge. Also a very sharp one – he made me promise to complete all the assignments and tests. ;-)
